By accessing or using mp4tomp3.live (the "Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms in their entirety, you must not use the Service.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and mp4tomp3.live ("we," "us," or "our"). We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.

mp4tomp3.live provides a free, browser-based tool that converts video files (MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, WEBM, MPEG, OGV, 3GP) to MP3 audio format. The conversion is performed server-side using FFmpeg.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, conversion success rate, or uninterrupted availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice.

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Permitted use includes:

• —Personal, educational, research, and non-commercial use
• —Converting public domain content
• —Converting content for which you hold a valid license that permits format conversion

The Service is intended for individual, personal use. High-volume automated or commercial use is prohibited without our written consent.

You must not use the Service for any of the following:

• —Uploading files containing malware, viruses, or malicious code
• —Attempting to circumvent rate limits, file size restrictions, or other technical safeguards
• —Using automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to interact with the Service
• —Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the Service's source code
• —Uploading illegal content of any kind, including but not limited to child sexual abuse material
• —Using the Service in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair our servers
• —Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or its infrastructure
• —Re-selling or re-distributing the Service without our written authorization

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of your access to the Service and may be reported to relevant authorities.

Your Responsibility

You are solely and entirely responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right to convert any file you upload. This includes verifying that you own the content, have a valid license, or that the content is in the public domain in your jurisdiction.

We Do Not Monitor Content

We do not inspect, review, or monitor the content of uploaded files beyond what is technically necessary to perform the conversion. We are not responsible for, and do not endorse, any content uploaded by users.

DMCA Compliance

We respect intellectual property rights and will respond to valid Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) takedown requests. If you believe content converted through our Service infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to us via our contact page with:

• —Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
• —A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is unauthorized
• —A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate

Our Intellectual Property

All website content, design, code, and branding associated with mp4tomp3.live are our intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the website without written permission.

File Size Limit: Maximum 500MB per file. Larger files will be rejected at upload.

Supported Formats: MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, WEBM, MPEG, OGV, 3GP. Files in unsupported formats will not be accepted.

Automatic Deletion: Uploaded video files are deleted immediately upon conversion completion. Converted MP3 files are automatically deleted within 60 minutes regardless of download status.

No Storage: We do not provide file hosting, cloud storage, or any form of persistent file storage. The Service is for temporary conversion purposes only.

Download Window: You have up to 60 minutes after conversion to download your MP3. After this window, the file is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Rate Limiting: To ensure fair access, conversion requests are rate-limited to 20 per 15-minute window per IP address. General API requests are limited to 100 per 15-minute window.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• —The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• —Files will always convert successfully (some files may have corrupt or unsupported audio streams)
• —The quality of converted files will meet your specific requirements
• —Any errors in the Service will be corrected

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties. In such jurisdictions, the above exclusions may not apply to you.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, mp4tomp3.live SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

This includes, without limitation:

• —Loss of data, files, or content
• —Loss of business revenue or profits
• —Failure of a conversion to complete successfully
• —Service interruptions or downtime
• —Unauthorized access to your files during upload or processing

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed USD $0 (zero), as the Service is provided free of charge.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated terms to this page, indicated by an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

We encourage you to review these terms periodically. If you disagree with any updated terms, you must stop using the Service.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved through good faith negotiation, and if necessary, through binding arbitration or courts of competent jurisdiction.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
